Calendar consists of various elements in the Calendar UI for selection and navigation purposes. The following image labels the elements that make up the Calendar UI as shown in the following image.

All the elements of the Calendar control are described below:

• Header: Shows the name of the currently displayed month, year or decade in the calendar.
• Navigation buttons: The previous and next navigation buttons allow you to go to the previous or next month in the month view, the previous or next year in the year view or the previous or next decade in the decade view.
• Today's date: The current date.
