Project Consultant /Sr. Project Consultant
This position will work with the pre-sales team in responding to RFPs and WOs from prospective customers and provide project plans and estimates. He/she will work closely with U.S. project managers and development team to produce timely deliverables, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Will estimate, plan, schedule, track, and successfully manage assigned projects; create or tailor Project Management best practices and implement them in projects as appropriate. Implement processes for improving the efficiency of the team and quality standards; manage and motivate team members, help define their career plans and review their performance on periodic basis. Education
Technical Skills- Generally 'smart' as well as strong on analytical skills
- Sound knowledge of object oriented programming and database design
- Ability to learn and scale-up to handle client requirements and take complete ownership of the project from quality standpoint
- Good knowledge of MS Project and other PM tools is preferred
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Technologies, particularly .NET, is highly preferred
Experience- 5~7 years of total experience in the software industry, preferably with service companies
- Should possess good technical experience so as to understand client requirements and deliver them successfully
- Prior experience in managing medium-sized teams and projects is a plus
- Strong leadership skills and a good mix of technical and management skills are necessary
Other- Excellent communication skills in English. Should be able to work with customers and other departments within the company to reach common goals
- Good team management skills
- Excellent people skills, as this person will be the first line of contact with customers
- Willing to travel overseas for client meetings and project requirements
