Some Application Development Projects

  1. .NET Development
    1. Meysen Student Management System
      This application was developed for Meysen, one of the most reputed kindergartens in Japan, to help them automate their daily administrative and functional needs. This application was first created using VB.NET, Microsoft ADO.NET and ComponentOne .NET components. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 was used as the storage medium for the data.
    2. Member Management System
      This application was developed for National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), India's premier trade body and the chamber of commerce for the IT software and services industry. The application helped Nasscom automate their Member Management system. Most of the application was developed in ASP.NET running on IIS. VB.NET was used as the development language for the website. The backend data synchronization modules were written using C#. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 was used as the storage medium for the data. Crystal Report was used to develop reports.   
  1. Java Development
    1. DELTA
      Delta is a web-based defect tracking and analysis tool. It provides role-based security and customizable features to enable different organizations or groups within the same organization to tailor the system as per their needs. The application allows users to post issues, track them and analyze the project or organization metrics as per need. The application is developed using J2EE technologies that include JSP, Struts framework, EJB 2.0, JBoss 3.2, MS SQL Server 2000, ANT, XDoclet, Eclipse and Custom tag libraries.
       
    2. Product Marketing and Support System
      The Product Marketing and Support System is a multilingual web application built on the J2EE platform to address the needs of product marketing and support. It has two parts, the Internet Site targeted towards customers and the Intranet Site for maintaining the Internet Site. The Internet Site provides product support in the form of support forums, knowledge-bases and FAQs to the users of purchased products. The application is developed using J2EE technologies that include JSP, Struts framework, EJB 2.0, JBoss 3.2, PostGre SQL, ANT, XDoclet, Eclipse and JUnit.

    2. OutLoud! Phrasebooks
    OutLoud! Phrasebooks are developed for our client MobiLearn Inc. based in the US. MobiLearn develops mobile language learning tools called phrasebooks, which are used in business, education, and travel. The phrasebooks enable English speakers to express themselves easily in French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Likewise, speakers of the other four European languages can use the talking phrasebooks to converse in English or in any of the other four languages. The product beat stiff competition from companies such as IBM and Ectaco, and won many awards, including Best Software Award in the Multilingual Dictionaries category at the Pocket PC Magazine Awards 2004, Best Product in Language and Culture category at the Pocket PC Magazine Awards 2002, Runners-up in Best Dictionary category in Pocket PC Magazine Awards 2003, and finalists in Best Education Application in the Handango Champion Awards 2004. Most of the application is developed in .NET CF and SQL Server CE as the database.

    A Visual Studio .NET Web Control for Business Intelligence, it brings the OLAP cubes right into your business applications allowing you to view, explore, and summarize data through your browser. Features provided by the control include:

    • Multi-language support
