India has become one of the largest technology centers in the world. GrapeCity, which has maintained offices in India since 1996, has recently expanded its presence there with a $4.5 million investment in a new, state-of-the-art office complex in Noida, a suburb of New Delhi zoned for technology-oriented businesses.

The four-story sandstone building includes suites where project teams can work closely together, a full-service cafeteria, a sunken garden with an amphitheater, water features both inside and outside the complex, and its own power-generation and automated utility systems. With the new building, we will be expanding our staff in India from 140 employees to more than 350.

GrapeCity India has shifted its Delhi operations to our new state-of-the-art office complex in NOIDA. GrapeCity has invested $4 million to build the NOIDA complex, designed by Raj Rewal Associates, architects of many famous buildings in Delhi, with inputs from interior designers in the US and project consultants in Japan.

The NOIDA complex is based on an open-office concept, ideal for optimal communication. There is extensive usage of sandstone across the complex, and natural light from the top dome is used to light up the complex. Soft, indirect lighting is also used extensively. There is an amphitheatre with a high-end video projection system to facilitate corporate meetings and client presentations. A sunken garden with an amphitheatre is one of the special features, and there are water features both inside and outside the complex. The whole complex runs on 100% captive power and has fully automated air-conditioning, generators, and utility systems.

We believe that the shift to the new NOIDA office provides the best working environment to our employees and this is another example of our efforts and investment in India.
