Visual Studio 2008 Install

As our development team upgrades their development environment to the latest version of Visual Studio from Microsoft, I updated my machine as well and installed Visual Studio 2008. This past Friday just before leaving for the weekend, I started the install, not realizing that it would take almost an hour to install. And that's not including the MSDN documentation. Knowing that the latest version of FarPoint Spread for Windows Forms will soon be ready, which can run in Visual Studio 2008, I figure I can also look at the docs in Visual Studio 2008. I will try to post my view of VS2008 later after we start using it more. Also coming up, we'll be using the latest VS2008 help template for our docs going forward, but we're leaving the old docs the way they are -- just as Microsoft is doing in their docs -- leave the old pages the way they are and apply the new style to the new content. Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, so most of us are out of the office today, but there is a small crew keeping the business running. --Bill
