    groupText Event
    In This Topic
    The groupText event handler is a function that is called when groups are being created and the groupInfo option has the groupInfo.headerText or the groupInfo.footerText options set to "custom". This event can be used to customize group headers and group footers.
    Syntax
    var options; // Type:  jQuery.wijmo.c1gridview.options

          // Create a new c1gridview widget
          $(".selector").c1gridview(options);

          // Get a previously created c1gridview widget instance
          var widgetInstance; // Type:  jQuery.wijmo.c1gridview
          widgetInstance = $(".selector").data("wijmo-c1gridview");

          // Set groupText event handler function
    widgetInstance.option("groupText", function (e, args) { } );
    groupText = function (
       e : Object,
       args : wijmo.grid.IGroupTextEventArgs
    ) { };

    Parameters

    e
    The jQuery.Event object.
    args
    The data with this event.
    Example
    // The following sample sets the groupText event handler to avoid empty cells. The custom formatting applied to group headers left certain cells appearing as if they were empty. This code avoids that:
    $("#element").wijgrid({
    	groupText: function (e, args) {
    		if (!args.groupText) {
    			args.text = "null";
    		}
    	}
    });
    Remarks
    You can bind to the event either by type or by name. Bind to the event by name: $("#element").wijgrid({ groupText: function (e, args) { // some code here }}); * Bind to the event by type: $("#element").bind("wijgridgrouptext", function (e, args) { // some code here });
