Rating for ASP.NET Web Forms provides an automatic customizable star rating control. You can easily customize the control using properties in the Tasks menu and Visual Studio Properties window.

Invoking the Task Menus

In Visual Studio, the Rating for ASP.NET Web Forms control includes a smart tag. A smart tag represents a short-cut Tasks menu that provides the most commonly used properties in each control. You can invoke each control's Tasks menu by clicking on the smart tag () in the upper-right corner of the control. For more information on how to use the smart tags, see Smart Tag.

Showing the Rating for ASP.NET Web Forms Control's Properties

You can access the properties for the Rating for ASP.NET Web Forms's control simply by right-clicking the control and selecting Properties or by selecting the control from the drop-down list box of the Properties window.
