DataFilter includes a smart tag to provide access to its commonly used properties and tasks at the design-time. To access the C1DataFilter Tasks menu, click the smart tag in the upper-right corner of the DataFilter control.
The C1DataFilter Tasks menu provides the following options:
- Edit filters
Clicking Edit filters displays a Filter Collection Editor, which allows you to add, edit or remove the supported filters currently added to the DataFilter. It also allows you to access or set the properties of the filters added to the DataFilter control.
- Generate filters
Once the DataFilter control is set to a valid data source, clicking Generate filters generates the supported filters for the current items source.
- Remove filters
Clicking Remove filters deletes all the existing filters from the DataFilter control.
- About C1DataFilter
Clicking About C1DataFilter displays a dialog box, which is helpful in finding the version number of the product and other resources.
Note: Currently, smart tags are only supported in WinForms .NET Framework.
