This example shows how to use the Calendar Grouping Strategy with the Grid Layout Engine to present a data set as a calendar, with data-defined events added to the corresponding days in the calendar.

This example shows how to use the Calendar Grouping Strategy with the Grid Layout Engine to present a data set as a calendar, with data-defined events added to the corresponding days in the calendar. This calendar is also editable. The Calendar Grouping Strategy creates one visual group per date and when it is used with the grid, you get a convenient calendar view. To make the Calendar Grouping Strategy with the grid, you must have one group level and the grouped column must be a date. In this example, the grouped column is the start column. Data in the start group is placed on the calendar on that day. Note the following in the code: References to calendar.js and grid.js load the libraries. CalendarGrouping object configures the calendar view. dataView object configures the data presentation and sets the grouping policy.
