Well, attendees present their apps for critique to the audience, a local panel of "experts". It’s a forum where we could present one of our apps and get feedback. There's a multiplier effect when lots of smart, experienced people interact together in the same room. WPUG Tampa member - Lee Carter's idea! Abstract: Improve Your App's UX/UI Are you ready to put your app in front your fellow developers and get live feedback: pros, cons, tips, cautions, and suggestions for improvement? This session will be a fast-paced critique of group members' apps, focusing on user experience and UI design. All apps will be volunteered up live from the audience, and critiqued on the spot in real time. By the end of the session you'll have a battery of ideas for your own app, and an entirely new perspective on how to design better app experiences. Prizes and Food: Bill Reiss will be providing some swag also, as the new Nokia Developer Ambassador in the Southeast. Tampa WPUG leader, Russ Fustino, has several O’Reilly books to give away, as well as a ComponentOne Ultimate Suite valued at over $2000, including the largest collection of tools for Windows 8 in the world, as well as Windows Phone 8 controls and Wijmo for HTML5 and jQuery Development. It should be one heck of a night. Food and soda will be supplied by TEKSystems.
