Recap: South Florida Code Camp

South Florida Code Camp was held on Feb 12 at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Thanks to Nova and Dr. Axelrod for donating use of the stunning Carl Desantis building. In addition to the code camp, Nova is also the home of the Miami Dolphins training center.

Around 700 members of the local developer community attended the code camp, and we were busy all day at the table. We have a number of photos of our trip on our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/GrapeCityUS), and Rainer Habermann has more posted on his Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=107812&id=1151796138.

I want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth throughout the day, it was a pleasure speaking with you and I’ll be following up with a number of you over the next few days. Thanks also to everyone who attended my talk, Using ASP.NET Authentication with Silverlight. I’ll be posting my talk as both a whitepaper and a blog series, and I’ll be giving the talk again as an MSDN Webcast on Feb 24. More information at https://msevents.microsoft.com/CUI/WebCastEventDetails.aspx?EventID=1032475764&EventCategory=4.

We gave away five licenses for our award-winning Studio Enterprise, congrats to everyone who won, let us know the good things you do with it!

Finally, congratulations to Dave Noderer and the rest of the South Florida Code Camp team for an incredible event; we look forward to coming back to the next one.
