Each control contains many inbuilt properties, events etc. and also, allows you to customize it. You may also inherit Wijmo controls in order to add more properties or override any behavior.
ComponentOne TreeView supports drag-and-drop operations within the tree. We just need to set the 'AllowDragDrop' property to 'True' and the users will be able to reorder nodes within the tree by dragging them with the mouse.
This blog demonstrates how you can create folders on the server, and upload files to these folders using the C1Upload control. C1TreeView control is used to show the folder structure on the server and C1Upload control is used to upload files to these folders.
C1TreeView is basically used to display Hierarchical data and can used in both bound and unbound mode. We can even show nested parent-child relationship by implementing C1HierarchicalDataTemplate and this has already been explained in this blog.
The ability to show connecting lines between parent-child node is pretty useful and definitely gives a better representation in case of large data. TreeView controls over some platforms have ShowLines property which user can set to see the connecting lines automatically.
