Issue with color legend in Silverlight

    Hi,

I have an issue in an exisiting project, and I created a brand new project based off the Northwind database to show the issue. I can send it to you but it is too large to attach it. The sample database is just a web application with a silverlight project attached with a pivotview in it attached to the Northwind Database. Nothing else it added.

When you initially go to set the color of the text based off another value, the legend appears but in reverse. If you look at ImageNW1.png and ImageNW2.png you will see the issue of the Blue and Green being in the wrong order. As soon as I edit the colors it fixes itself. If I apply just a very simple theme it also fixes itself so it looks like it might be an issue with the built in theme.

If you want me to send you the sample project let me know where to send it (it is about 7mb because of the dll's)

    RSmith,

Thank you for providing the detailed steps. I tried replicating this issue at my end but unfortunately could not do so. I connected the SilverLight viewer sample application to Nwind Local Cube and placed the fields on the viewer as demonstrated in the screenshots provided by you. However I got the correct results everytime. I have attached the output. I simply dragged and dropped the fields without changing the theme (as I already set the theme to default) or editing the colors. Could you please try using the SilverLight viewer sample application that is shipped with ActiveAnalysis and check what results you get?

    Regards,
    Sankalp

    Hi Sankalp,

Yes, I tried that when I first found this issue and it is working as it should in the sample. I then disabled the themes in the sample application (so it didn't even apply the most simple default theme), and the issue started to occur.

As soon as I apply even the most simplest of themes the issue goes away (i.e. like in the sample application), it only occurs when there are absolutely no themes applied.

    Ryan,

Thank you for letting me know. I was able to replicate this issue after disabling all the themes. I have opened a new Case 154824 for the development team to get this issue addressed. I have also added your E-mail as an affected user. You will be notified once this case gets resolved.

    Regards,
    Sankalp
