Posted 3 August 2017, 4:01 pm ESTI am using the ASP.NET Pivot Viewer with an MDXDataSource and was wondering if it is possible to restrict the number of rows returned. Currently there is a warning that pops up when 1000 rows are returned and then it continues processing. Is it possible to stop processing after it hits 1000 rows and then return the results.

The warning that pops up when 1000 rows are returned is because the default value of the WarningThreshold Property is set to 1000. This property places a limit on the number of display points, however you may modify the value of this property if you would like the pop up to be shown only after a specified number of rows have being processed.

You can get more information on this property here:
http://www.datadynamics.com/Help/ActiveAnalysis/GrapeCity.ActiveAnalysis.Windows.Forms~GrapeCity.ActiveAnalysis.Windows.Forms.PivotView~WarningThreshold.html

I would suggest you to go through the suggestions that are provided in this forum post on how you may keep your result values minimal.

Please let me know in case you would like me to enter a feature request case for limiting the number of rows returned.

Best Regards,
Abhishek
