    Hi,

I'm using an example from this forum for use the UnboundDataSource, there's a method for define the SchemaDefinition... I'd like build my own SchemaDefinition and choose which FieldType is gonna be each Field... but I can't find a way to do it.

The only way seems to be with SchemaBuilder.AutoGenerate("DynamicSchema", fields ).BuildSchema() and generate automatically the schema, but this method only get Measures and Attributes, never got PKI for example...

Is there a way to do it? Could you provide some information about how AutoGenerate create the schema for know wich .NET datatypes are correlated with each FieldType?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers.

    vtortola,
You can an example of manually creating a schema in the documentation here: http://www.datadynamics.com/Help/ddAnalysis/DataDynamics.Analysis.Windows.Forms~DataDynamics.Analysis.Schema.SchemaBuilder.html.  I have also attached a sample project which demonstrates how to both automatically generate and manually generate the schema. The AutoGenerate method will look at the underlying data type and if it is a numeric type it will be created as a measure and other types, such as string and DateTime, would be created as attributes

Please note that it is not currently possible to create KPIs and NamedSets for relational data.  These are only available when connected to Analysis Services.  I have entered case 121017 to have this included in a future release and I have also included your email address with the affected user list for this case.
