Currently there is no way to stop DDA from executing once it has started; however I have entered a new feature Case 129114 to get this functionality added to Data Dynamics Analysis.

Replied 3 August 2017, 3:52 pm ESTIf you know you will be making a lot of changes to the current layout; there is a button on the toolbar to turn off the auto-query when you make a change. Once you've made your changes you can then click the button again to let it query the data source.
It isn't a replacement for a Cancel button, but it should keep wait times down if you will be making a lot of changes. I've also created a new case, 129119, to introduce a delay in the auto-query to give you more time to make changes before it will query the data source again.
