    Hi,

    I have downloaded the trial version of ActiveAnalysis and it was working fine inside our Web Application Project. But in DotNetNuke, I am getting an error that says The GrapeCity.ActiveAnalysis.Web.CoreHandler HTTP handler is
    not registered
    .

    Here are the steps that I have done:
    1. Created a DotNetNuke module.
    2. I added a PivotView inside the module and configured the same connection setting that I did on my Web Application Project
    3. Compiled the DNN module.
    4. Installed the DNN module in DotNetNuke.
    6. Added the following in the section of the web.config:

    When I tried to run the page where I placed the module, I am getting the error mentioned above.

    Thanks,

    Joefer

    Joefer,

    I have tried installing Dot Net Nuke at our end but unfortunately we
    have not being able to configure this product .We have being facing
    issues with DataBase Script installation at our end .It would be very
    helpful if you could provide us a virtual machine which already has Dot
    Net Nuke installed with the required settings so that
    we can test the issue at our end. You can upload this virtual machine to out
    ftp server i.e ftp://ftp.fpoint.com/ActiveReports/upload/ and let us know after you have done so.

    Best Regards,

    I too am having this same issue, however I'm calling it from an MVC application. Here is what I'm doing.

    Using MVC 5, in the controller here is the call:

    public ActionResult C1Viewer()
    {
    return View(new WebFormView(new ControllerContext(), "~/Areas/AnalyticsHome/Pages/Viewer.aspx"));
    }

    I can go to the page, and it works just fine, however, when making this call, the WebForm loads, but the AA control throws this error.

    Any advice?

    Hello,

    Kindly make sure that you have the following entry :

    <httpHandlers>
    <add verb="GET,POST" path="ActiveAnalysis.ashx" type="GrapeCity.ActiveAnalysis.Web.CoreHandler, GrapeCity.ActiveAnalysis.Web"/>
    </httpHandlers>

    If it does not help, then can you send a sample so that I can check and can suggest accordingly.

    Regards

    I'll see if I can't get you a sample project, because I added that to the webconfig and still get the error message.

    Joefer,

    I am currently not familiar with Dot Net Nuke and I will also need to install it on my machine . As you can understand it will take me some time to familiarize myself with with Dot Net Nuke and also test the issue . Please give me some time so that I can do the same and share my observations with you regarding this.

    Best Regards,
    Abhishek

    Hello,

    If it still does not work after including the handler in the web config then I need to check the sample. You can share the sample here or you can create a ticket using our WebPortal(https://www.componentone.com/Members/default.aspx?ReturnUrl=/Support/default.aspx) and can send the sample through it.

    Regards
