What is the sql server edition needed for implennting Data Dynamics Analysis

    Hi all,

    What is the sql server edition needed for implementing Data Dynamics Analysis ?

    Will it work on Sql server Express?

    or should i need Sql server Enterprise edition or sql standard edition .

    Hello,



    Yes, you should be able to connect DataDynamics Analysis to SQL Server Express if you are able to connect to that SQL Server instance through any .NET application. I would also suggest you to please go through “Analyzing Relational Data” walkthrough as this will help you in understanding that how to analyze data from any relational data source:

    Dear Amit Pal,
    But for creating cube ,from my understanding Sql Standard edition needed.So sql express cant be used right?

    balu,

    To create cube, the SQL Standard edition is required. However, DDA can be connected to datasources other than cubes as well. Please take a look at this link.
