    Hello everyone

    I would like to know if there is any extension available for VS2017.

    Some of my projects in VS2015 use ActiveReports9 while a few use ActiveReports10

    If I migrate them to VS2017, would I have any issues with ActiveReports not being compatible

    Thanks[url=http://benoit.gaillard.aricie.net/UserProfile/tabid/2042/UserId/7046/Default.aspx].

    Hello,

    AR9 and AR10 do not support VS2017. AR9 and AR10 were never tested VS2017 as it was not available at the time of AR9 And AR10 release.

    I would recommend you to update to the latest version of AR, AR12 to use with VS2017. Also, AR9 and AR10 had been declared as a legacy product a long time ago and it is out of development mode hence, we don’t support it anymore now.

    You can refer to the following link for the new features and enhancements:

    https://help.grapecity.com/activereports/webhelp/AR12/webframe.html#WhatsNew.html

    You could use the trial version AR12 which can be downloaded from the following link:

    https://www.grapecity.com/en/download/activereports

    However, as per my understanding, you can use the AR9 and AR10 with VS2017 for modifying the existing project through code only. You cannot use the designer feature of the AR and you cannot create a new project or a new report in VS2017 With AR9 or AR10.

    Hope it clarifies.

    Thanks,
