    Good morning,

I would like to ask you something related of the license.

My company bought an Active Reports - Professional license, and they provide me the key to work on it (Developer machine).

On the other hand, we have a Server that has configured Continuous integration.

Actually, to publish the changes from our projects (.NET) we have to merge changes into a specific branch, and it is applied inmediately to the server.

The server has installed the Trial version to compile the project.

The problem is I have the key but not the server.

My question is if I have to put the same key in the server or I have to configure something from my side to don’t see the “Evaluation” message when I move it to the server.

    Thank you!

    Hello Emilio,

Good Morning! Welcome to the ActiveReport Family

Yes, you can use the same key on the server machine. You need a separate license for each machine on which you compile ActiveReports projects. However, you do not require licensing for any testing or staging machines that you may use.

Please refer the following link for to know more about AR licensing:

    https://www.grapecity.com/en/licensing/activereports-developer

Also, you can refer the following link to deploy your application on the non-licensing machine:

    http://help.grapecity.com/activereports/webhelp/AR12/webframe.html#arHOWLicensingActiveReports.html

    Hope it clarifies.

    Thanks,

    Mohit
