    Hi all!

I am developing an app in vb6 that uses vspdf to generate pdf's from vsprint (7) output.

This has worked fine for previous versions of Windows. However when the same functionality is used on Windows 7 the images in the vsprint output are lost when converting to pdf using vspdf.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? And of course: how do I fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

Woe is me! Is there no one who will come to my aid?

This means we will have to replace VSView/VSPrint. I would prefer not to, but a pdf without an image just will not do!

    Hello,

I believe you should upgrade your controls to the latest version of our ActiveX controls.  Our version 7 controls do not support Windows 7, and that is likely the issue.

If you face the issue with the latest set of version 8 controls, please let me know.

    Hi Raleigh,

It turns out you are quite right. I made a testproject first with vsprinter7/vspdf7 which did not export the images, then with vsprinter8/vspdf8 and the images were exported on Win7 SP1.

Luckily we already have a license for version 8, so I'll replace the controls and hopefully nothing bad will happen.

    Thanks for your reply!
