Hi,

Currently I am having a problem with data dynamics reports when it is run from a shared network install. It appears that data dynamics is still making call .NET 2 dlls for somethings. I have tried to turn on CAS policy with NetFx40_LegacySecurityPolicy, but I have been unsuccessful trying to do this. I am using version 1.6.2084.14 of the software.

    Hi Prantik,

I have not been able to create a small project to reproduce the problem. The problems does not always occur in all situations, but it is a major problem with the project at the moment. Looks like I will be trying a work around solution.

    Hi Prantik,

It appears to be the same problem as reported in thread "Security error with reports containing scripts". If there is scripts on the report then the report will fail due to a CAS policy.

    Hello Mark,

I am still unable to reproduce the issue. Please take a look at the attached sample application. I have put in the switch to enable CAS on the app.config file. The RDLX within the project folder contains code to set the Text of the textbox. If I run this sample and from File->open pull up the RDLX from a network location, it comes up in the viewer fine. Could you please check and try getting the issue reproduced?

Regards,
Prantik
