Report viewer process and division by zero.

I had a rdlx which a had (accidentally) division by zero. This made the viewer enter an endless loop which took my iis to full core usage and raised the memory used to 2GB before I stopped it.

Luckily I found the reason - the division by zero - but I think maybe DDR should check that as well...

Can you tell us about where you had the division by zero occurring in your report or attach a simple report which demonstrates the issue?

I've tested it within an expression in a textbox and in a custom code function but both of them render fine.

    Thanks,

I no longer have the rdlx, however I can tell you that it was in an expression in datas values in the chart.

    Amir,

I have not been able to reproduce this. Please check out the attached RDLX. The y-axis value has been set to be divided by zero. It renders a blank chart at my end.
