I already am waiting on many bug-fixes from Data Dynamics team, was just curious to know what's 'fixed' (most softwares go with 'New' but we've a differant story ) in this build ?

I'm not sure why the .4 and .5 builds worked for me on the CodeModules issue, to my knowledge these builds only contained a fix for a memory leak in the designer control that one customer ran into where after creating many reports in their application they would have to restart it.

Tell you what, I do not care much about it, we've got few pigsties here as below:

(Below is one of the most awful ones, if I use VS2k10 IDE the same works, but this error - see one of my screen shots - comes up for the same report if I try to open it up in designer ???? )

are just the "few" ones that I've saved on my file.

Request of enhancements for the Data Dynamics Designer (v 1.6.2260.3)

I found few, if they are already fixed, please suggest the workarounds. If you are experiencing other than enlisted, please comment.

This is an evolving product and tries ( I believe so) to get better and better every single day.

    - At the time of adding parameters to the property page of the sub-report control, the expression windows comes up always with the previous parameter's expression. When we double click on the desired parameter to be bounded with the subreport's parameter, it get's appended with the previous parameter's expression.

    - Just like in active reports it would be good to have a page-break control it would solve many issues and save our time.

    - At the time of initializing the parameters of a dataset, for the first time, after coming back from the expression editor, the parameter list scrolls back to top - this is quite unpleasant.

    - 'Smell' the market trend.

Please try to be aggressive as far as the frequency of the updates are concerned.

Every single bug threatens just by thinking that it would take 6 month to N yr(s) to get this bug solved.

(for N months we just get replies I was able to replicate this issue on my end and the case# is so & so and Also I have added you email address to affected users' list)

Others are able to aggressively work on their punch list. Some issue 'support tickets' and guarantee for their follow up within 72 hrs.

Chrome and IE, 5cm x 3 cm text area to write / respond to the post, it does not end here, I see no formatting tools ! firefox gets enough love from the website. (I too am firefox lover and user ) but Google Chrome and Internet Explorer are being ignored... Hello ?

Write a new post go back and hit the post button , you got a new different post, Congratulations! ;-)

Static : hitting back button just goes back to the cached copy of the site, I have to keep pressing F5, just got to forums.asp.net log in and sit back - it gets refreshed automatically !
