  Howdy,

  I want to use AR design at runtime, but i want to have sure that design at runtime works with mysql.
  
  I don’t use MSSQL.

  Is this possible? can you problema a sample for both saving & retrieving?

  Please answer ASAP.

  Hello Jorge,

  I am glad to tell you that AR supports MySQL data provider. You can retrieve the data from the “MySQL” to show in the report(Please refer to the attached report). However, ActiveReports is reporting tool, you can retrieve the data from the different data providers but you can’t update the database through AR.

  Is it possible to provide an example of saving the report to mysql?
  
  I want to deploy design at runtime to my users, but i want the report data to be in the database.
  
  Also if possible, the above example, can you provide the full vb.net example? for both, the above and the designer?

  Oh,

  I just saw that is used the old ado connector, can’t use that

  It has to be in pure ado.net using the mysql.net driver.
  
  Can you send both examples using it?

  Hello Jorge,

  In order to accomplish your requirement, you can use the “DataSet” provider of the PageReport. Please refer to the following link and attached samples.

  Also, I have created the dummy sample to load and save the report to the database.
