    Good day

Please advise if there is a way to include the Tag objects in the exported HTML when using the GrapeCity.ActiveReports.Export.Html.Section.HtmlExport?

I am hoping to pinpoint specific controls in the exported HTML to apply additional formatting/processing.

Can you please elaborate what you mean by Tag objects? Are you facing any errors or issues while exporting to Html? It’ll be helpful if you could send across your application for me to better understand your requirement.

    Hi Abdias

On each Label or TexBox control on the report you can set a Tag object.

I require this Tag property of the control to be exported into the HTML file.

The export works fine, but I require a way to uniquely identify a control after the export.

Either by means of the Tag property, or by other means.

I’m sorry, the Tag property can’t be exported to Html since there is no Tag property of Html elements. If you can explain the purpose of uniquely identifying a control after export, perhaps, there might be another way.

    Abdias,

The AR Tag property could be replicated in HTML as a data-tag attribute.

The idea is to augment selected elements with additional data and other attributes.

In this case, it would be to identify XBRL Financial Reporting elements in the exported HTML.
