Table of Contents Sort

    Hello!

I wanted to see if it was possible to have the table of contents sorted differently than the actual data output on a report? I have a report that outputs names in a non-alphabetic sort order. But in the table of contents, I need the sort to be by name. So for example, the report might generate this:

    1. Ted
    2. Bob
    3. Janice

But in the table of contents, I need the sort to be alphabetic, like this:

    Bob 1

    Janice 2

    Ted 3

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

I couldn’t find a way to sort the Table of Contents except to sort the data itself through the Sql query. I’ll still get in touch with the development team to find if there any way possible to do this. Tracking id - 261001

    Hi Richard,

I have heard from the development team regarding your query. Unfortunately, the ToC control does not support sorting, however, you could use the Table or List control to show the table of contents and apply sorting on them. If you need navigation, you could use the Action > Jump to Bookmark feature.

    Thanks
