Using BOLD text within HTML in RDLX files results in text overlap

    For example, using the HTML:

    Sign and Date each form <b>ONLY</b>

    Results in the attached PDF (screenshot.)

    A little clarification - I believe this is relevant. The issue occurs when setting font-family and size. The text with bold highlighting is inside a body tag.

    <body style=\"font-family:Arial; font-size:13pt\">

    The version is 11.

    Hello,

    I am not able to replicate this issue at my end. Please have a look at the rdlx report attached.

    I have used AR v11.2.10750.0.

    In case the issue still persists, please provide me your sample report.

    Thanks,

    Thanks Deepak. I haven’t been able to reproduce by setting the HTML directly in the FormattedText properties and previewing/printing. In my case, I have the FormattedText set to use a field in a dataset. I load the dataset using LocateDataSourceEventHandler. Then I call Document.Render, with the PDFRenderingExtension. The output provider is a FileStreamProvider. This combination results in the text issues, but only with font-size set. If I omit the font-size, Arial renders fine. If I get time later I’ll try to circle back and see if I can better isolate all of the contributing factors in a report with limited code use so I can share it with you.
