    Sorry, here's the sample. As I said:

    - it works with Professional Edition Build:

    - I upgrade to Active Report Professional

    - I run the project and it fails. Characters are overlap like I never use the code line "rendermode=1"

    - I uninstall version

    - I install Professional Edition Build:

    - I run my project, everything is perfect.

    Develeopment computer is XPpro with all microsoft updates and VB6 with SP3

    Also VisualStudio.Net 2005 and SP2 installed. SQL2005 and SQL2000 installed.

    Hello ,

    Thanks for the sample, unfortunately, i was not able to reproduce a problem.

    What paper size is set on printer? Could you send me a screenshot of advanced setting of printer?

    Sergey Romanov.

    Dear Sergey,

    I send you the screenshots of printer configuration.

    - one of my test computers had old version of AR and they were succesfully printing. Theese computers don't have any VB installed. they have my application installed.

    - I upgraded to new AR and made new installset, remove old install set from test computer and installed new one (with new AR) the failed to print. characters are overlapping.

    - Test computers are new installed XPsp2, english

    this is a simple procedure. lpt port or printer can't have problem because old version is working. Also I changed computers, new version is not working. same computer, same printer settings, same application. only AR version is different.

    help please..

    Hello ,

    What printer do you use?

    Could you send me a sample of application?

    Sergey Romanov.

    It's a simple oki printer. And the application is not special one. simply place some text on report and print it, it fails.

    bottom line is:

    I have an application that works with old version, I install vew release and it stops working. I uninstall new release and install old one it works again. I don't make any modification on source code during this test. that's very simple procedure.

    Dear Sergey,

    I just noticed that

    Private Sub ActiveReport_ReportStart()

    Me.Printer.RenderMode = 1

    Me.Printer.PrintQuality = ddPQHigh

    End Sub

    PrintQuality line corrects the problem. all other quality values (medium,low,draft) overlaps the caharacters. But high quality extremely lows down the printing process.

    Still need help.

    Best regards.

    Hello ,

    Thank you for the information. I had a similar problem earlier, the text is overlapping in the fast printing modes.

    I will forward this information to developer.

    We created a new change request (25850) for this problem.

    Sergey Romanov.
