Replied 4 August 2017, 3:03 pm ESTYou can find the "CR Reports Import Wizard" in the start menu under Data Dynamics-->ActiveReports 2.
Replied 4 August 2017, 3:03 pm ESTI'm not using .Net but VB6. The utility does not work with anything higher than verison 8.5 (this was posted on another thread http://www.datadynamics.com/forums/54212/ShowPost.aspx ). I have serveral hundred CR 9 (note the 9) reports that I need to convert.
Since I can't use the utility, what other options do I have?
Replied 4 August 2017, 3:03 pm ESTI wasn't aware of this limitation and I entered CR 24269 to improve this utility. Unfortunately, I don't know of any other option to convert the reports.
Replied 4 August 2017, 3:03 pm ESTHhhmm...I was willing to shell out big money to convert our two commercial applications to ActiveReports for VB6 with the eventuality of using .Net as well. If you (or a 3rd party) don't have a converter for Crystal 9 (which is at least two years old now) I might have to rethink that decision because of the work involved to recreate all of the reports.
The conversion app was a big selling point. Even if the conversion is only 50% of my CR data I'd be happy (mostly).
