Displaying Unicode characters in AR 2.0

I am trying to display a certain unicode character (a currency symbol to be precise) in a label on an active report.

I have set the labels font.name and font.charset properties to the appropriate values. I obtain the currency based on the localeID; this is VB code that grabs the currency from the locale and converts it to String. Doing the above on VB controls (labels, textboxes) works just fine.

I know the font works because I have tried it separately (on the same machine).

Can someone please point me in the right direction...

In order to display Unicode characters correctly, you need to change the Script for the control to display the Unicode characters correctly.

    1) Go to the Properties of the Textbox control

    2) Go to the Font property

    3) Click on the '...' icon. This will open the font dialog from there you will see a script drop down list select the appropriate script.

Also, we would like to know:-

1)What kind of error you receive on using the said fonts in the report and how do you set the Font type for the Labels?

2)What is the font that you are using?

3)Do you receive the error in the ActiveReports Viewer or is it when you make exports to PDF or some other format?
