    Hello, everyone!

My name is Ariel from Argentina.

I have my boss asked me to generate some thin table information (the table contains only 4 fields) in a format looking like the one in a Diary. I would need to put three rows of my table in each detail of the report. Can that be done ?

I attach a file showing what I need.

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your query. Can you let us know what you mean by “want to put three rows from the table in the detail section”? Do you want to group the report in groups of three records? Any further information to explain the situation will be highly appreciated

    Hi, PrantikS.

Lets suppose we have a table with 500 rows.

The table has five columns only (ItemCode, ItemName, PreviousStock, ItemsAdded and ActualStock).

The idea is to save paper by putting three "MS Word columns" (I don't know the exact term here so I apologize) in each page of my report, each one having 40 items. Then, in one page I could render 120 items. That way I can have the same information printed with a third part of the paper if I use the traditional way of things. I hope I make myself clear.

    Thanks for the answer.

    From Argentina.

Do you want that detail section of your report should display multiple columns (as observed from the PDF you sent)? You may try changing the columncount property of the detail section to set the number of columns in the report according to your requirement.
