Why is one of my reports printing out garbage? It exports to PDF fine and prints fine from PDF. It also prints fine from other parts of this program but not this one report.

This is what gets printed out on the paper.

@PJL SET JOBATTR=”JobAcct1=gra….. then it gets cut off then there are many blank pages and some has funny chracters.

Any idea what’s wrong or what I could do to trouble shoot?

Typically garbage printing is from using the wrong or corrupt printer drivers. Most likely the printer you are using to print doesn't support HP's PJL langauge that the printer driver is sending.

I still do not understand what needs to be done. Reinstall the printer driver or how can I not use whatever the PJL language is.

reinstalling the driver did not work so whats next.

I knew it was not the printer and almost all tech support blames it on the printer right off the bat. As I stated before, it works fine on any other reports except for one. It turns out I cannot use vbcrlf for documentName i.e. report.documentName = “Menus” & vbcrlf & “April”. When I removed the vbcrlf, it worked fine so it had nothing to do with the printer.
