    Hello guys,
on the attachements you see a report I made. The password for the ZIP is "dowar".
You see two records, the IDs are on the right side, 104 978-34301 and 106 383-88145.
I can fill this field directly from the recordset, but I cant do the same with the persons: Ca. 160 Personen.

Since I cant fill this number directly, I have to take the FetchData event, count how many persons there are, and then filling in this field.
But how you can see on the report, its both time 160 persons, which is wrong. When I make a longer report with more records, I see that, the persons are just one record to late.

I think the problem is, that I have to set this field in the GroupFooter and then to use the FetchData event.
But since it works when I fill field directly in the GroupFooter, how can I solve this?

    Best regards

    Müller Matthias

If I understand you correctly, you have IDs in the Group Header, Details corresponding to IDs in the detail and you wish to have the count of these details in the GroupFooter. In order to meet this requirement, you could add a counter that increments at the detail afterprint event and display the value at the GroupFooter. Please take a look at the attached sample that connects to the NorthWind database in this regard. Please let us know if this does not meet your requirements.
