GroupValue comment in ActiveReports help file

The GroupValue help item in the DD AR2 help file/documentation states the following:

Note: This property is obsolete as of ActiveReports 1.0 Service Pack 3, and should never be used in ActiveReports 2.0. To bind a group to a custom value you can add a field to the Fields collection and bind the group to that field by setting the DataField property to its name.

I use this setting in my Unbound reports with AR2 build 2.4.1.1283 and it works fine.  I think any programmer who takes this note at facevalue AS FACT will feel like they have to work harder to facilitate grouping for Unbound reports, when actually just simply setting this value at it was originally intended works just fine.

Could the next update of AR2 have a corrected help file so that this comment is updated or removed.  I think many people who refer to it may find it helpful to know that grouping can still be accomplished using Groupvalue for Unbound reports as it is still supported and works just fine!

    Thanks.

Thanks for the reminder tfrancois; I
have entered a documentation CR to remove this property from the class reference
and any references to it in the user guide. Actually, that is the purpose of the
note: if you are creating a report don’t use this method as there is not
guarantee it will work in the future and your reports might break if you later
    upgrade to new service pack.

    Ali,

Why is it necessary to remove this feature?  It works, and works well.  I just finished a report that took me no less than 83 hours to complete and without the Groupvalue function it would have taken alot longer for me to get the report to produce the results I needed in Unbound mode.

    PLEASE LEAVE IT IN!

    Thank you.
