This was happening with AR1 & AR2 reports in both the VB6 IDE and a compiled exe.

A little background: Upgraded a Win98se system to WinXPhe SP2 (there was no time to do a clean install - 30+ installs, updates, settings, etc.).

Symptoms: The 1st time that I would run any AR report it would run fine. Then, if I ran another AR report the error 5000 with CP internal=32 would occur.

Resolution: In Control Panel, Printers and Faxes I deleted all items & reinstalled the printers. Problem resolved.

Hope this helps someone else.

Weird. It's as if something was keeping the printers open? Thanks for posting your fix!
