How to export active report to excel ?

    I have designed a template on active report it's good but when I output it to excel then layout not right as design. I try to do anyway but can not successful. Please help me solve this problem.I hope so recive a good answer form you. ThanksIndifferent[:O]

    It sounds like it could be an issue with CanGrow or CanShrink properties. It also might be a font limitation or something, what font are you using?

    Yes, it would be nice to have at least some screenshots of your design and what the excel output is (a graphic file can be attached directionly). If you post multiple files and/or design files, those will need to be zipped.

    Can you be more specific about what is not right?

    Remember you are taking an open drawing surface, AR, and sending it to a column and row limited structure, Excel. So things like lining up your controls in table/row structure is helpful to the export dll, equal heights and aligned tops on controls in the same row, equal widths and aligned lefts for those in the same column, can do wonders.

    Firstly, I thank you very much about your answer.
    But, my problem is as. When i draw a textbox on active report and after that set border's textbox, textbox have some character. But after export it to excel character out side textbox. I don't understand what's happen. I will send you my design if you need. Thanks

    Thanks your answer, but 2 day ago I found out solution to solve this problem. By anyway i will sharing with you my experience but i can say that It was only a trick.
    VerticalAligment property very important. If you set is top or middle or bottom everything will difference. Beside that It have some trick which just discover when you do. However i want to send my design and source to you. It's just reference for you and I hope so will recive to make your ideal.
    Note that it can not run because no database and it was commented by japaness.

    Excellent find tuanlotus, different VerticalAlignments could definately confuse the Excel export in a very similar manner as having a pair of controls with a top or height property a few twips off from being equal.

    Thanks your answer.Althought that I have also a problem which I can't solve. If you have many expirence please help me. How to merge cell in vertical ?For Example I have a character "A" some thing like that and I want to locate it at between 2 cell.

    Custom formating like that would best be handled by the Spreadbuilder API.
