Image Control Erro: "Invalid Image"

    I have a problem.
    I add an Image control to my report.
    When I specify Image Control's path with Attached Image, Give me an error: "Invalid Image"
    On the other hand,I can add Any other image.

    Furthermore,I can open Attached Image with all Image viewer.

    I am not sure of this, but the image does not seem to load to a VB6 Picture control as well. On opening with a separate image viewer,it throws an error ("bmp image has bogus header data") and I am not sure what it might mean. However, on opening the image in MSPaint and resaving ,it loads up fine in both ActiveReports and a Vb6 picture control. Please check the attached modified image.

    But which kind of image tool were you using? I am testing the free trial package of the iamge SDK: Do you have any ideas about it? Thanks in advance.

    Since it is one of the quite old thread, I would like to start fresh with your query.

    Could you please let us know the exact issue faced by you and the version of the control used.

    Also, you are requested to try using the latest build of ActiveReports, available at :
    as no bug fixes and enhancements would take place in the older versions of activereports.

    On a related topic, I just need to know/confirm that ACTIVEREPORTS 2.0 has an image control that is used t0 upload an image i.e. .png. This image will then appear on the Report when it runs?

    Can someone please clarify this

    Yes, ActiveReports 2.0 does provides you an image control which can be used to display static or dynamic images.
