is there any way GrpKeepTogether can start a new column rather than start a new page? Or in other way I can do this?

I have a 2 column report with 1 level of group, I want to keep the grouped content to single column rather then spread into 2 columns, what can I do to archive this?

It would have to be a CR (Customer Requst) to get the GrpKeepTogether property to have the option of columns. In the mean time you could set your GroupFooter's NewColumn property to ddNPAfter.

Setting GroupFooter's NewColumn property to ddNPAfter, that means for every group will start a new column, what I want is only when the group is spread over 2 columns, move the gwhole group to next column.

ActiveReports for .NET has added the ColumnGroupKeepTogether property.  This does not yet exist in ActiveReports for VB6.  I have added your email address to CR 3581, which requests this functionality in VB6.  You will be notified via email if this feature is added.
