Location of temp file for pdf export

I have a report which I export in a pdf version.
Problem is, I'm exporting it to a floppy disk, and the temp file that's created in the process is about 1 MB in size, although the final PDF file is only about 6-7 KB.

Since the temp file is created on the floppy, too, this
    a) makes the process slow
    b) severely limits the number of files I can export to a single floppy.

Both of these problems would be solved if I could store the temp file somewhere other than the target location for the report itself.
    Can this be done?

My suggestion is to export the file to a location on the hard drive and then move the file onto the floppy after the export has completed.

Yes, that's the obvious work-around to this problem.

I just wanted to check whether there was any way to redirect only the temp file itself.

If there isn't now, perhaps you could put this in as a "feature suggestion" for future versions?

I have created suggestion CR 17360 to request this feature.  You will be notified via email if a build is released containing this new property.
