Problem with preview and print dialog

    Hello, i am experimenting an error with AR (v.1422). The issue occurs when i make a preview of the document before print. If I print directly all is right, but when show the preview first, in the open of the printer select dialog, an error is showed.

    Any idea?

    (The computer have some printers, but all are ok and print without problem with other programs)

    Hello,

    Request you to please provide us with the following information :

    1. Error faced by you. A supporting screenshot of the same would be very much appreciated
    2. Exact version of the control used
    3. Default printer and the list of printers installed
    4. Machine configuration on which the issue is replicable
    5. Try the same on some other machine and see if the issue is replicable

    Let us know your observations

    Hello again, i attach an screen capture.
    Excuse me for my mistake in the control version, the right version is v2.5.0.1322.
    We have tried with the different printers (setting every one like default first and later tried only selected) and the error still happening.
    I will try to obtain the machine configuration and post it.
    (I will try to catch the error code if possible, too)

    Hello,

    Can you please try setting the DeviceName property for the Printer class to empty string ("")? This will force ActiveReports to query the virtual printer rather than the default printer. You can then select a printer from the print dialog while printing the report. The following code should be placed in the ReportStart event:

    Me.Printer.DeviceName = ""

    Hello !!

    Finally the customer has told us that the problem happens only on one machine, then we think the problem is the machine and not the ActiveReport control.

    We have proposed to reinstall everything again in the machine and then test the report.
