Hi,
I am trying to create a new report with some images and text and am after some suggestions.

In the detail section i have an image to the left and a series of text fields to the right.
The image has a height of approx 100px and the text may be a 50-60 lines long.

The issue i have is that when the page breaks the image may get cut in half. I have tried setting "keep together" on the detail section and this solves the problem, but i end up with large blank areas if the text won't fit on the page.

What i would like is for the image to be printed if it fits fully and then split the text over the pages.

Can this be done?
Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks,
Ryan.

    Ryan,

I do not think there is any direct way of achieving the results which you expect to get, other than setting the KeepTogether property. However you may want to do something like: If me.control.height + me.control.top > paperheight then..."Your condition here". You can force the page break through code by saying Me.Detail.NewPage if the above condition is satisfied.

Regards,
Sankalp
