Subreports and RPX - I'm Stumped

Ok.  I currently have a main report with a subreport.  The main report is getting it's data from a stored proc.  The subreport is also getting it's data from a stored proc.  I am saving both reports as .rpx files.  I am loading the layouts of both the main report and subreport in a custom .dll that is called by a web page.  My dilemma is how do I pass data from the main report to the subreport's stored proc as a parameter in this manner without coding it directly in the .dll?  I already have a solution, but I am doing some trickery.  I want to know if there is a 'right' way to do it.

    Thanks - Greg

My recommendation is to pass the parameter to the DLL, which processes it and returns a recordset for the subreport.

In some cases, you can also try the following:

Is there any way for me to reference the main report from the subreport within VBScript inside the subreport rpx file?

    You can use rpt.ParentReport:
