    hi,

    iam using terminal font in one of my label in my report.
    iam using charcter in that label hving ascii value suppose
    224(alpha sign). i change fontname to terminal.
    also i changed charset of label to 1(default). now its coming properly in report while seeing.

    but when printing its giving different cahracter from deskjet & inkjet printer.

    plz let me know the solution for displaying & printing special mathematical notations with normal character

    I did not have any difficulty printing ASCII character 224 on my printer with Terminal font.  However, Terminal is not a truetype or opentype font.  If you use Symbol font (which is opentype and should contain all mathematical symbols), you will see much better results.

    One from printers does not support Terminal Font(OEM/DOS font). Maybe because Regional Settings.

    The solution for displaying & printing special mathematical notations with normal(Englich) characters in the DD.Label control:
    Fonts: Arial , Times New Roman, ...
    Charset: 161(Windows:GREEK_CHARSET)

    Greek Small Letter Alpha - ASCII code 225
    For another letters see Character Map.

    Text1.FontName = "Arial Greek", ...
    Or use Text1 properties window (font).

    Sorry. I am using ActiveReports 1.0. What to do with ActiveReports 2.0 you can see in my code.Add to my project ActiveReport1 and Label1 into Details section.
    After this remove apostrophes from Command1_Click.
    Good luck.
