    Hi,

    I am trying to export a report to a tiff file, this works ok, however the quality is really bad.

    Is there a way to specify quality settings for the export or a better way to do things?

    Ryan,
        Thank you for your question. An approach users have used in the past is to use ComputeDPICeiling method.

        Ex:
        Dim tif As ActiveReportsTIFFExport.TIFFExport
        Dim c As Canvas
        Dim c2 As Canvas
        Dim dpix, dpiy

        Set tif = New ActiveReportsTIFFExport.TIFFExport
        Set c = Me.ARViewer21.Pages(0)
        Set c2 = Me.ARViewer21.Pages(1)

        tif.FileName = App.Path & "\exportTIFFComputeDIPCeiling.tiff"

        dpix = tif.ComputeDPICeiling(c.Width - tif.LeftMargin(c) - tif.RightMargin(c), 800)
        dpiy = tif.ComputeDPICeiling(c.Height - tif.TopMargin(c) - tif.BottomMargin(c), 1100)

        tif.ExportTIFF c, tif.LeftMargin(c), tif.TopMargin(c), c.Width - tif.RightMargin(c), c.Height - tif.BottomMargin(c), 800, 1100, dpix, dpiy, False

        'for multipage, use appendTiff
        tif.AppendTIFF c2, 0, 0, 12240, 15840, 2400, 3200, 0, 0, ddTOAntiAlias

        End Sub

    Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thank you!
        Eric
