C1AutoComplete issue

    Hi

    I’m having a weird issue using C1.Xamarin.Input, C1AutoComplete control, happening on XF under iOS (testing on an actual iPhone X and simulator)

    I was using an old version of the controls, sometimes (about 50%) of time, when i rotated the phone the app would crash (caused by the C1AutoComplete control trying to render again), so i saw an updated version of the controls and updated them. Currently im using version 2.5.20181.271.

    Now when i rotate the device, the"down arrow" keeps missaligned and sometimes it dissapears, also the “Close button” inside the control dissapears, see attached pictures

    I’ve seen a similar report for this issue and I think we’ll have a hotfix available that addresses this in the next couple of days. I’ll updated you once it’s released.

    Another issue we found today, under Android, not happening on iOS, same control. Tested on Android 7.0 and 8.0

    If you select an item from the Autocomplete control and then try to delete characters (using onscreen Keyboard backspace/delete) to rewrite characters, they are not deleted in the correct way, the “cursor” switch places and it is very troublesome to delete all the words

    Thanks, Fernando. I’ll make a note for the developers to take a look at it. It’s probably too late to get this into the upcoming hotfix, but I’ll have the developers look into it for the next release.

    Build 3.0.20181.282 should have a fix for your first AutoComplete issue, and it should be available today on nuget.org. Let me know if you see any issues.
