  I am converting from an old version of ComponentOne. It looks like there were major changes from the C1Spell control to the new C1SpellChecker control.

  Is there a link that shows how to fix breaking changes? or to convert from one to the other?

  Hello John,

  Sorry, but there is no direct link to the breaking changes for C1Spellchecker. You can refer to the ChangeLog present at the location: C:\Program Files (x86)\ComponentOne\ChangeLog.html
  
  Also, you can refer the Edition Release History from the below mentioned link:

  If you are trying to upgrade an application to a newer version, we would suggest removing the references to the previous control and then dragging a new C1SpellChecker control onto the form to replace the existing one. This will update the references and licensing information and you should be able to build the application with the new control. There would be no other direct way to do so.
