Cannot edit C1flexgrid component in Design View

  I recently upgraded my ComponentOne version from 2016v3 to 2017v2. After upgrading, when I open my existing the VB.net project in Visual Studio, the C1flexgrid component is no longer selectable in design view. Also, I noticed that it is already added in the component tray whereas it wasn’t there before the upgrade.

  I already made sure that all the referenced assemblies will point to the updated version (4.0.20172.271) but it didn’t fix my problem. Please help.
