    Hi,

i’ve a WinForm solution that use a lot of components from ComponentOne Studio for WinForms, version 20121.1.2 (licensed).

Now i need to integrate in the same solution a new Wpf project and i would like to use some components from ComponentOne for WPF.

I’ve downloaded C1 for WPF from this link https://www.grapecity.com/en/wpf and i’ve tried to install the package (version 20181.1.17).

In my WinForm solution i’ve added Wpf project and the references of C1 Wpf components.

For new Windows in Wpf project i don’t have any problem to add and use new component from C1 for Wfp, but now the big issue is that i can’t open and build the olds Forms in WinForm project, i’ve this message: “Your license expired in aprile 2013. To use this version, please renew your license and rebuild the application” (in attachment there is image of message).

My question is as follows: is it possibile to have two project (WinForm and Wpf) in same solution with two different suite of Component One (C1 WinForm 20121.1.2 with C1 Wpf 20181.1.17) without update the old components in WinForm project?

Let me know as soon as possible

    Best regards

    Hello Andrea,

I tried to replicate your scenario by creating a winforms project with an old license and added a new wpf project to it. However, the issue does not occur at my end and I am able to open the WinForms’s Form and WPF’s Window both.

From I understand, there are few dlls common between C1 Winforms and C1 WPF, so when you install new version of WPF it would override these common dlls, hence these dlls would show the nag screen.

So, could you please confirm whether you are receiving nag screen for all controls in your application or not and for what controls are you getting the nag screen? Also, please share what all ComponentOne controls are you using both in WinForms and in WPF.

    Thanks,
