We are currently evaluating documents for excel and have a query about macro enabled spreadsheets (xlsm format). What we would like to do is open the spreadsheet update a load of cell values then save the spreadsheet as an xlsm format again. Not to bothered about gcExcel being able to update cells based on the macros but would like to be able to keep the format as ultimately the end user would open the file using a copy of Excel which would run any VBA macros at that point.

Although looking further forward it would be nice if the product was able to run VBA code directly.

At the moment the only save format seems to be xlsx which will lose any VBa macros saved in the document.

We deeply regret the inconvenience caused.
